Right, so I've heard a lot about James Dewees lately since people obviously didn't stop being upset about that since the summer. Possibly reactions have mellowed out since that first "No! No, I-- ALALALALALALALALALALA" but there has still been some buzzing.

My reaction is completely out of proportion. At first a was a little "do they have to?" but then I read some very thoughtful posts by a bunch of very smart people, and came to the conlusion that I didn't mind at all. I mean if they love the guy, and if they feel they want to include him, fuck, man, go for it. And since then I've basically been all asquee over James Dewees. Just for example, randomepiphany wrote a WoW crossover/fusion thing with MCR that included James and I was practically shouting with glee at restless_jedi, who was the one to link me.

But I was checking the liner notes for Revenge tonight, and did you guys know that at least Mikey and possibly also Gerard mention him? Mikey just writes his name, right next to Bob Bryar's, but Gerard writes thank you to a "James for being my big brother" (!!!!! *FLAIL*). Now I don't know about you, but it tickles me pink that this dude's been around since before Gee got sober. He wasn't just conveniently hired for the third album, but he was there before Revenge even dropped. And hey, if they managed to hire Bob Bryar from hanging around doing tech work, why not James Dewees while they're at it?

I'm really fucking psyched, you guys! I mean, if this turns out to be a rumour, I might even be disappointed a little bit. So, yeah, Team Dewees. Woo! \m/

But! I RPGd this weekend (I do it by phone, because the RPG in question is about 500 km north of me. Yeah. It's a thing) and it was hilarious. I heard only afterward about the hijinks, of course -- my character's best friend, Kitty, threatened to kill the leader of a rival mafia family! One of our long-time friends showed up and things got fucked up! There was guns and drugs and a suicide attempt! "I" had to call Kitty's sister and warn her that Kitty was about to kill herself! It was pretty awesome, despite some things that got fucked up.

Some day I need to do a List of Kinks thing, or something. Seriously, my buttons are many and varied -- apparently I have a thing for school uniforms. I have watched the Making of the I'm Not OK video for the millionth time and I go putty every time. Frank Iero, how do you even exist? I seriously want to be Gerard Way's BFF. Mikey Way makes my heart melt. Ray Toro is generally pretty awesome, and I want to braid his hair. Bob motherfucking Bryar. Oh, MCR and bandom, what you do to me.

I honestly did. I hid the pics I have of JohnandRodney in a folder called "Oh, God, I can't believe I'm doing this" and watching me read Sirius/Remus fic (my first slash pairing) for the first time must have been a hoot, what with all the squirming and blushing. Oh, the illicit thrills I had.
